Colour me a 'Rainbow'

 Hi and welcome to Saturday.
Time to show you my make for our
Colour Challenge at Just Us Girls
and our Host Angie chose
Rainbow Colours. I may be old fashioned but
I always use the seven colours.

When I think of rainbow colours
my hand goes straight into my Brusho drawer
for an easy peasy colourful creation,
This is just what I did here and simply stamped
a big sentiment from STAMPlorations
which fits perfectly with today's times.
Attached to white card base and I'm done.
Pop over and see what Leslie and the Team
created with colourful rainbow colours.
Hope to see you in the Gallery.
Thanks for dropping in

Smile for The Sisters

 Hello and Welcome again.
Here is the second card I made for the
Sisterhood of Crafters current challenge

I decided to keep with the same bright sunny colours,
and using a big Smile stamp for my word.

Here's a close up showing the glitter embossing.

The bottom part of my card has been inked with
several word stamps from
STAMPlorations Subway Art Builders - Dare
then inked and spritzed my glass mat with
Tim's Spiced Marmalade Ox ink
and stamped  masking the  STAMPlorations Bloom Sketches.
The top flowers were inked lightly with Prima Marketing Bare
again masked.
Sponged around the edges lightly with leftover ink
using a baby wipe.
Drew a pen line around the edge and added a
bit of squiggle. The Smile stamp was inked and then
heat embossed with Gold Glitter.
Oh and I added some splatters for interest.
This was another fun card to create and liked
the result I got from the stamping of wet ink.

Thanks for dropping in. Hope you enjoyed
checking out how my card was made.
Till next time - Cherrio from

Where there's Tea!

This week over at The Little Red Wagon
they are looking for Hot Drinks
so why not go with hot colours too!
That's what I chose to do here.

I found this colourful background in my bits box
which was made with the shaving cream technique and
for something different I use a variety of Liquid Pearls
that have been lying idle in a drawer and reinkers.
You would know just how shimmery the pearls are.
The colourful tea cups are from the Poppy Tea Cup Stack
cut with scrap pieces of card stock.
My tag is from CUTplorations Tags 1.
When I popped it I was going to add a sentiment
from STAMPlorations Always Tea Time
to the left side of it hence it is a little too far to the right.
Decided to put one at the bottom instead.
It is small and reads Where There's Tea There is Hope.
To fill the gap I cut a scallop border from MFT.
Added a few hearts from the die cut cups and a
tiny piece of ribbon to the tag to finish.
I always enjoy getting that die out and having fun
decorating the cups in various ways.
Even added a touch of shimmer to the yellow parts.

Hope you like my hot tea cup stack.
Thanks for dropping in.
