A Mixed Up Embossed Make

The month's are just slipping away so quickly
and before we know it Christmas will be upon us.
Sorry didn't mean to scare you!
Hello and Welcome to my October make for
Mix It Up and our Anything Goes + Embossing
that can be Heated or Dry.
I found This Tutorial over on You Tube
and thought I would give it a go.
It looks really dramatic on black card base.
I heat embossed my background using
three embossing powders in Ranger Copper,
Zing Metallic Silver and Stamp-It Gold.
Cit in three sections, framing the middle one in gold,
attached the other two to black card base then
popped the middle one.
Finished with a simple sentiment from
Inspired by Stamping on a JustRite Tag
with a tiny pearl.
The copper was a little hard to photograph
but you can imagine how much nicer it is IRL.

Thanks for dropping in.
Pop over and see what the rest of the
Mixed Up Girls created.
Hope to see you in our Gallery this month.
Till next time

Up Up and Away!

Hello and Welcome to my Saturday post for Just Us Girls.
I'm Hosting Word Week and chose something
that we would all like to do especially with
restrictions and lock downs abounding.
Welcome to our August Guest - Lisa Elton.

I decided that a hot air balloon ride would be
a great adventure - just don't think I could do it.
Where will your travels take you?

I'm still on the recovery road with my new knee
so CAS has been my go to of late.
My background was found in my bits box
and used SU Rich Razzleberry, Hello Honey and
Tim Holtz Antique Bronze Spray on photo paper
buffered with a paper towel.
Thought it looked like a golden sunset.
Simply added my hot air balloons.
Don't know where the stamps came from as a friend
gave them to me quite a long time ago.
They were inked with VersaFine Clair Fallen Leaves
Sentiment is from retired SU Build a Bouquet.
Attached to cream card base.

Pop over and see what Lisa and the Team
created with the Travel Theme.
Join us and you could be our Chic of the Week
and in the running for Guest in October.

Thanks for dropping in.
