Outside my' Window'

It's Saturday and that means time for our

New Challenge at Just Us Girls

Bobby is our host and picked a great Trend for us.

My window frame is a Spellbinder die I had never used

so a golden opportunity to break it out for this week's challenge.

Inked up a brick stenciled background then added my lightly sponged window

and tissue paper behind it for curtains and popped.

Added a leaf scroll and array of flowers from SU Botanical Blooms.

Finished with pearls in the centre, die cut sentiment

and sprayed with perfect pearl mist.

Pop over and see what our Guest Lisa

and the Team chose to 'Trend' this week.

Join us and you could be our Chic of the Week

and be in the running for Guest in October.

Thanks for dropping in

Adding this to the NBUS Challenge 17

with my Spellbinder Window Die.

PS - got no idea why the spacing is the way it is here.

Hasn't happened before but I will work it out.

If you know how to fix it love to hear from you.

Made with Love Canvas

Today's post is for the new challenge over at
My project is a canvas for my sister
who recently celebrated her birthday.

The canvas has been gesso'd, covered with
crinkled tissue paper and crackle paint.
I decided to go with the beautiful deep fuchsia colours
as they are the colours in her living room.
I have used lots of MM elements here.
As this has taken a bit of time to put together,
(only because of my restricted sitting time)
Here are some close up's to check out!
Using Lindy's Magical's, Shaker and Nuvo Shimmer Powder.
Heat Embossed Chipboard and Cheesecloth.
Added three gesso'd kebab sticks to the background
and assembled lots of flowers. Some were coloured with Magical's.
Cut out the hearts in gold and inserted mulberry paper
and a gold heart mold embossing with the same glitter above.

Added sprinkles of Diamond Dust.
Finished with a Love You sticker from Tim Holtz.

That's it for me this month.
Pop over and see the great Mixed Media Makes
my Team Mates created and we would love to see yours
in our Gallery this month.

Hope you are all staying safe and well
during this unprecedented time.
It does make for more craft time if -
you are retired like me.
Till next time
