It's the last Saturday of the month and time for our
Photo Challenge at Just Us Girls and hosting this week is Sue.
When I saw this photo it reminded me of my Dad
who had told me he had actually seen the
Northern Light of Old Aberdeen in Scotland - hence
the dymo cut sentiment depicting what they may have
looked like for him.
There is a song about this and sung by a
very popular Scottish singer most of you would not
have heard of - Andy Stewart.
I know a few of my friends will know him and his music.
I was lucky enough to see this gentleman in concert
and brought back so many memories of my childhood
listening to his music with my parents.

My first attempt was very different to this
and I did the crafters sin by adding just one more thing
and spoilt it. However I do like this one a lot better
and was quicker to make.
I inked and heat embossed a bunch of trees
just like the photo and then added Tim's Oxide Inks
a few tiny stars from a gel pen and a few bigger ones
with a dipped cotton bud and a spray of perfect pearls.
Adhered to a black mat onto metallic card stock
that has a hint of green.
