Anything Goes at Send a Smile 4 Kids - Challenge #91

I think we all LOVE an Anything Goes Challenge
so here is your chance to play along with us at
Send a Smile 4 Kids
You can let your creativity go WILD.
***
So for my first card I chose
Clown Birdie from one of our Sponsor's
Doodle Pantry
It is just such a cute image and thought it a Perfect Children's card.
A really simple card using
Basic coloured card stock
Papers and sentiment from the Doodle Pantry digi set
I just added a couple of circle punches twine and
a button to finish.

My second card is made with a digi supplied by
Kenny K called Skateboard Girl.
My background was made from
Tim Holtz Stencil - Splatters
using Distress Inks and SU Beyond Basics
I coloured my image with watercolour pencils
and added Glossy Accents for the shine on her skateboard
and popped it on top of Spellbinders Circles and Lacy Circles
My sentiment is from Gina K Designs - Smile.

Our Generous Sponsor's for this Challenge are
Doodle Pantry - $10 Gift Certificate
Kenny K - 3 Digi's of Winner's Choice
Fred She Said - $10 Gift Certificate

Hope you get a chance to play along with us
for our ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE
and perhaps you can post your creations on to
cheer some of the sick children at our
Children's Hospitals.
You can find all the information
HERE

And you will want to pop over to the other
TEAM SAS Designers to see what they have made
for your Inspiration.

Thanks You for taking the time to pop in.

Till next time - Cherrrio

DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THESE 'AWESOME' COLOURS?

I know I DO... and  OUR HOST Sharyn found it...

An old work mate and dear friend sent me the amazing
stamp I used on my card. I knew when I saw the colours
I just had to use it, Unfortunately I don't know where it is from.

I have a thing about inking backgrounds lately and thought it
perfect for this challenge. Inky finger again...
I heat embossed the stamp with Zing Aqua embossing powder
which gave it a beautiful sheen
then went to work with my background colours.
I used several which include
Tim Holtz  - Peacock Feathers, Bundled Sage
Memento - Morocco, Peanut Brittle
to name a few.
Added layers of bright coloured card stock
which were edged with a Martha Stewart punch
Finished off with red Kaisercraft pearls.

That's my card for this weeks
Colour Challenge

I know the other JUGHEADS
and our Guest Tajanna
have created some breathtaking cards
so pop on over and check them out.
***
Sure hope you get the chance to create something
bright and beautiful.
In doing so and entering our challenge HERE
you could be our Weekly Winner
and be in the running for a Guest Designer Spot
sometime soon.

Hope to see how these colours inspired you and
look forward to seeing your creation
 so till next time...

It's for REMEMBRANCE DAY

It is REMEMBRANCE DAY
and the day we all remember all those brave soldiers
who fought for their countries and still doing so.
We will remember them at the 11th hour of the 11th month.
***
I made this card as my THANK YOU to all those that
lost their lives and those still fighting.
Today I especially remember a friend who's husband
went to Vietnam and unfortunately passed away
some time ago.
