A 'Mini Trend for Just Us Girls

I'ts Trend Week at Just Us Girls
and Host this time round is Carol
choosing a very different Trend
and one maybe some of us wouldn't do very often.
It was a lot of fun working out just what to make.
After many attempts - some a bit too big and other -
well just weren't quite right.
Eventually I landed up with a few.
This is a regular size card with just a 'mini'
fussy cut frame and a Kaisercraft flower,
popped onto an embossed background that
I had lying around.
This is a much smaller card size (approx 4"x 4")
with a simple flower which has a bit of glitter in the centre,
some grunge and an appropriate sentiment.
I did have a third but could not get a decent photo
so skipped that one.

Pop over and see what our Guest Deborah Frings
and the Team created and join in
with yours in the Gallery.
Till next time -

It's a 'Spring Fling Thing' at STAMPlorations

We are having a SPRING FLING
with a blog hop and linky party
at STAMPlorations
Welcome to my post for this special event.

There are a bunch of us STAMPGIRLS participating
so you will want to go over and check them out and
get involved by entering your projects as there are
prizes (see below) to be won and also a
Spring Fling Discount over on the
Spring Fling Section at the Store.
By using my code STAMPGIRLINA
you can get up to 35% off.

I stenciled my blooms (this is the new 6x6 size stencil)
with texture paste and lifted the wet texture
with my fingers to get a raised effect.
I then did lots of waxing with Nuvo Mouse -
Aloe Vera and Coastal Surf.
For more colour I used
Art Alchemy Mermaid Sparkle Sparks
on the biggest bloom.
More colour was added with Art Alchemy Waxes in
Vintage Gold, Mink Sparkle and Peacock.
As I was going to use the black clear stickers I
inked the edges with Mixed Media Grunge
with Tim's Black Soot Oxide Ink.
Finishing with the fussy cut stickers
as you can see below using the sentiment
from two of the clear stickers.
Added black pearls to the centres of the blooms,
a black mat backing and on to metallic card base.

Here are the products I used
ARTplorations Bloom-Doodled-Trio Stencil
STAMPlorations Mixed-Media-Grunge
April-Showers-Clear-Stickers

It's the 'Holiday Theme' at Addicted to Stamps and More

Hello and Welcome to my post for
Addicted to Stamps and More

As you can see it is our Holiday Challenge.
This is my first Christmas Card for the year!

I have used one of my favourite stencils from ARTplorations
My background is a bit of smooching and after I
heat embossed my deer I covered him in gold
then carefully inked in a darker blue.
Sentiment and die are from Hero Arts.
Backed with gold paper on to blue card base.
Pop over and see what the rest of the Team created
and hope you will add a holiday card to our Gallery.
Thanks for dropping in
