Hey There!

Hosting this weeks challenge at Just Us Girls is BOBBY
and she has chosen the word GEOMETRIC and is sure to
give us some fabulous creations.
Here's what I had fun making - so cas but I thought rather cool.

I recently received the ARTplorations Broken Glass stencil
which is just perfect especially when I had the
Banners Dies from MFT with the same type of shape.
So my card was born.
My background was stencilled with silver acrylic paint
and once dry I added my banners in different shapes
cut from those swats you get at a hardware store
and framed behind it in pink.
Finished with some bling and sentiment - heat embossed
by Paper Smooches -  Sentiment Sampler. Love the fonts!

Pop over and see what the Team
and our March  Guest Designer -
Nance Salkeld from Soul Stampin
have create for your inspiration.
Hope to see your creation over at Our Blog
and you could be our next Chic of the Week
and in the running for Guest Designer for May.

Thanks for dropping by

Hiding in my Craftroom for 'Any Holiday' Challenge

NO! it isn't Christmas - sorry if I startled you.
I made this simple card for the  Any Holiday Challenge
As you can see I chose to add to my Christmas Collection.
My card base is navy and topped with white and embossed
with an old Christmas Embossing folder from Cuttlebug.
The little wintery scene is from Inspired by Stamping and
inked up with Memento Paris Dusk.
I added some Frosted Lace Stickles to the
roof tree and ground and if you look closely you can see it.
Sentiment is from Gina K Designs
and finished with some blingy gems.

That's it for today. Thanks for dropping by -

XOXO Marks the Spot

It's my last week as Guest Designer over at
Shopping our Stash and I must say this week's is
One of my Favourites - A Colour Challenge.
I was over the moon excited when I saw this.
Here is what I created -

I have used some metallic/linen paper
which I though suited my shimmery floral image
which is from 49and Market. This was coloured with
metallic paints using all the colours above
(you need to use at least 3)
After painting my flower I added some touches
of yellow to the centres of the flowers and
some splatters with acrylic paint.
This was cut from a Sizzix die and popped.
The background is stencilled slightly
inked with Memento Angel Pink.
I decided to do a bit of distressing
adding some pearls and the
cut several time for depth to finish my card.

I apologize for the poor quality of my photographed card.
I didn't realize that paper would be so hard to get a clear shot.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the
Design Teams Creations. They are sure to please and
inspire you to join in. Hope so.
I'd also like to say a Big Thank You to the Girls at
Shopping our Stash
for inviting me to be their Guest for February
and enabling me to use some 'stuff' I hadn't used
played with new things and enjoyed  my time immensely.

Popping this over Here and Here for the above Challenges.

LIVE with Passion

How easy was it to make this for the current
Sketch Challenge at Less is More ?
I normally have trouble with sketches but
this one was so simple and to the point.
I stamped my flower and flourish from
SU Creative Elements in Calypso Coral
popping the flower cut from
MFT Stitched Die.
Sentiment is STAMPlorations
I put the small sentiment on my Stamp Positioner
and curled it to stamp it around the flower.
When that was finished it looked a bit bare
so added a few scored lines either side.
Just hope it didn't spoil it.

Simply 'Happy Birthday'

Such a simple card but simply suitable for
those males in our lives.
I have used kraft card stock here.
This lovely tree is from
Repeat Impressions (Spring Tree)
and I am guessing there would be
loads of people wishing Spring would come quickly.
However here in Australia it will be Autumn.
This was inked up with a Marvy Heritage Ink Pad
as was my sentiment from Inspired by Stamping.
This was cut from a stitched die and popped.
To finish my card off I added some jute string
and some gold brads.

I am sending this card over to The House that Stamps Built
for their Anything Goes Challenge. Details are HERE
It's in the MALE Challenge.

That's it for now. Thank You for popping in
to see what I have been up to.

Time Out Challenge #77

Hello Crafty Friends. What do you see in this photo below?
There is so much there that my mind boggles!

It's for the current challenge over at Time Out
All the Details are Here.
I took my inspiration from the colours and flowers.
Since
were sponsoring I though I would use
some of their fabulous products here.
My background was one I had sitting on my desk
and thought it matched the colours closely to the photo.
I then stenciled the ARTplorations Happy Flowers
with Pearl White Acrylic Paint
adding a bit of grunge to the background with
the  A Happy is from Vignette Chevron & Arrows
My little bird is from Kaisercraft.
This was cut with stitched dies and
attached to pearl paper to blend with the flowers.
This is heading over for the
