It's a Milestone 600th Challenge at Just Us Girls

What a Milestone we have reached at Just Us Girls
I am sooooooo lucky to be part of this amazing team.

It's our 600th Challenge! How Awesome!

To celebrate this milestone we have  a Giveaway
Thanks to our Awesome Angie.
You will have to go over to Our Blog to see what it is.
Vicki is Hosting and what a perfect chose for our Word Week -

but wait! there's more. We have a new Guest Designer
and I am so happy and excited to have
join us this month.
Now I am sure everyone knows how talented she is
and will be sharing her talents with us all September. Yay!
A Very Big WarmWelcome Loll.

Now on to my card -

I did have a few ideas on this but in the end
I went with Designer Paper I have had for years.
I used one page and cut our the six squares
and backed them with coloured paper to blend.
Added some variegated cotton,
tiny bee and butterfly from SU Collage Curios,
pearls and sentiment from Altenew Engraved Flowers.
I then adhered to another sheet of designer paper
and on to coloured card stock.
I photographed it in front of a sheet from the same pad.

Loll has made a gorgeous card for her first post
as our Guest Designer and so too my
oh so Talented Team Mates.
Pop over and see for yourself and
join us in Celebration by adding your card
to our Gallery. You could be a prize winner
and/or our Guest Designer in November.
Thanks for coming by

A Mixed Up Recycle Make

Hello and Welcome to my Mixed Media Make for

Here is the front and back view of my
recycled cardboard creation and
as you can see -  from a beer carton.

There's not a lot to explain here just
having a fun play time with lots of
different products used and adding
as I went along - not knowing how it would
look finished.
I have used gesso as a white wash on the corrugated cardboard.
Distress grit paste always adds some nice texture.
Some grungy stamping, stenciling and
a bit of bark hiding behind my popped
smaller cardboard. There is also cheesecloth
and lots of glitter. Art Alchemy Stamps, Paints and
Waxes were added for colour.
Die cut flower is from Cherry Lynne.
Finished with a simple sentiment.
I meant to add some blue wire to hang this piece
and forgot before photographing so will  do that.

Pop over and see what my Creative Team Mates
had fun with and hope you get a chance to add yours
to our Gallery this month.
Thanks for dropping in.
