Big Hugs for Just Us Girls

Hello and Welcome. I'm here with my Saturday Post for

Just Us Girls 

It's Colour Week and as Host Bobby chose

2 gorgeous colours and gave us the third choice.

I will admit I went through several colours before 

choosing plain old black as mine - and different layouts.

I must admit my coral colour looks a little bright but
it is Tim's Abandoned Coral so I went with it.
I did some smooching for the background then inked up
some stamping from STAMPlorations
Scribbly Splattery Grunge and
Tim's Wildflowers in Hickory Smoke.
Added dies from the same Wildflower Set in
White and Black.
Sentiment is from STAMPlorations Bloom Happy.
Cut this out with a postage stamp die and
adhered to grey card stock and then on to
my black card base.

Simply a 'Tree'

Hello and Welcome to today's card.

I have a busy time coming up soon
 with friends travelling from the other side of Oz,

also relatives and friends for a short time

but managed to whip up a card for the

current challenge over at CAS Watercolour - 

 The 'Theme' being Tree

I started with my watercolour background

with Tim's Stormy Sky using acetate.

I then inked up the Stamp It Large Conifer

with Memento Luxe Northern Pine

spritzing it with a mix of SU Champagne 

and water, stamping on to water colour paper.
Painted a water wash to the bottom of the tree
 and the leftovers were splattered around.

This was then cut from a MFT stitched die

popped onto a bigger die and popped

again onto white card stock. 

The sentiment is from SU and finishing

with a scored line either side. 

 Not too much crafting time coming up but
will try and squeeze in a few favourites.

on your blogs may be a bit hit and miss.

You Brighten My Day

Hello and Welcome.
Today's post is for the current challenge
over at The Mod Squad and Hosting is my
Good Friend Judy Woodland. Judy is
asking us to use our Acrylic Blocks for our Background
and I love making them.
Details are Here

Gina K is the Sponsor so I thought it only
right to use her stamps and paper.
I have an addiction to Lindy's Magical's
so thought I would incorporate one colour on this card.
You can vaguely see I have used my acrylic block
three times inking with Tim's Distress Abandoned Coral
onto watercolour paper.
 As the outcome wasn't too pronounced
I thought I would put some Hags Wart Orange Magicals
onto my craft mat spritz it with water to activate
 and then press the acrylic block
onto it and transfer that to the first inkings.
With leftovers I smooched around the edges
and got a softer colour.
I then heat embossed my image from
Gina K's Springtime Silhouettes
(I know it's an oldie but still love that set)
with WOW Chocolate Caramel Pearl
which has a lovely chocolate colour and shimmery gold
depending how you look at it.
My sentiment is from Gina's Smile inked
with Memento Morocco.
Added some splatters from SU.
This was then cut with a stitched die
adding an inked piece of  crinkled ribbon
then finished by attaching to Gina K card stock.

Hello and Welcome to my post for Happy Little Stampers. 

It's time for the Anything Goes with Dies Challenge for September.

 

The background for my card was made some time ago

and was in my bits box. It's was made my heating

several colours of Gelatos.

I cut this with a postage stamp die and

added  a coloured mat to the background.

This was adhered to metallic gold card stock.

Sentiment is a newbie from STAMPlorations

and inked with Memento Teal Zeal

then heat embossed with  clear powder.

My dragonfly is from Marianne Designs and

cut with gold paper.

Now that you have seen my card pop over and see
