It's Always Tea Time!

Hosting this weeks Challenge at
Just Us Girls is Judge Judy
(sorry had to say it)
choosing an old favourite and one
I haven't done for some time.
It's
A little while ago I bought the
Tea Cup Stack from Poppy Stamps
which I think makes for a good way to use this technique.
It is a little tricky with all the tiny pieces
but I managed to keep them all together after
cutting then mixing and matching
the different papers picked from my box of scraps.
My card base is white which was then randomly stamped with
TH Spun Sugar with one of the stamps from
preview-SheryRuss_AlwaysTeaTime
My sentiment is also from that set.
I cut 2 Sizzix Framelits tags - one for the back (with DP)
and the other white for my tea cups.
These were popped in front of the
stitched die cut paper backed
with paper to match.
Finished with some knotted variegated cotton on my tag.

This is the last week for our April Guest Laurie
so pop over and see what she has created
with the rest of the Team and come join us
 for this fun challenge.
Thanks Laurie for showing us a small part
of your talent this month.

# I will pop this card over at The Cuttlebug Mania Blog Spot
for their A Cuppa Challenge

Anything Goes at 'The House'

It's Anything Goes time at The House that Stamps Built
Details are Here

I'm still playing with my Brusho's and decided on the
Lime Green which I know comes out with lots of yellow -
perfect for my Daffodil flower (904W) from Repeat Impressions.
A pretty simple card using black card stock, brusho's
and my RI Daffodils.
Corner rounded and adding my sentiment
which is from STAMPlorations finishing
with a bit of spritzing.

That's it for now - till next time

Butterfly Moments!

Here is my last card for the Things with Wings Spring Hop
A quick guide as to how this was made -
The background that was added to my purple card stock
is partly the shaving cream technique and then I added
extra by stenciling with ARTplorations Retro Circles
The butterflies were inked from STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies
and my featured butterfly is heat embossed on vellum from
I have used stitched dies on all layers.
Sentiment is from the above stamp set.
Added some gems to finish.

'tis a Merry Christmas

The current Christmas Challenge at Happy Little Stampers is

Details are Here and I will link this card
to the above Challenge.
This is also going over to a newbie -
The Holly & Ivy Christmas Challenge  for Challenge #4
It's an Anything Christmas Goes.
***
I had this reindeer die cut left over from last year
so thought it timely to use before it got squashed.
I heat embossed it with gold a couple of times
and popped it up in front of my
Tim Holtz Holiday Knit stencil which was
painted with gold coloured paste.
This was then framed with a white stitched die piece of cs.
My base is heavy duty gold metallic card stock.
***
I am really enjoying the fun of making
Christmas cards throughout this year.
I won't get caught out again!
Thanks for dropping in. Love reading your comments.

Pick a Holiday Theme at Hiding In My Craft Room

The Theme this week is Any Holiday.
I got to choose my image above from
The Paper Shelter called Sweet Gardener
sponsoring this week's Challenge
with the winner receiving a $15 Gift Certificate.
***
Now there just happened to be a pre coloured digi
(my kind - as colouring human images scare me)
Sure made my card making so much easier - and
probably a whole lot better.
DP used for my background is from
Sugar & Spice - Spring Garden
and that is the Holiday Theme I used
as I am sure there is a Spring Time Holiday
some time or other right!
We do have a huge Spring Garden Celebration
where I used to live and the gardens there
are truly breathtakingly beautiful..
My sentiment matches the flowers perfectly
and is from STAMPlorations
DP's used were from Kaisercraft Floral Delight
Other products I used are
Stitched Die
MS Leaves
EK Success punch
SU Petite Petals
Kaisercraft Pearl
Tim Holtz Abandoned Coral
