Welcome to today's post for Just Us Girls.

Vicki is hosting our Photo/Mood Board Challenge

and has picked a Super Summery Photo.

There comes a time when a challenge stumps you

and this one was it. (I don't know why)

I knew I wanted to use the beach huts from Inkadankado

and quite a few ideas went - you know where!

Time was running out but finally I had something

that I was okay with and left it at that.

Lots of different colours for the stencilled background.

Inked up the tree, added some coloured coconuts.

Die cut and coloured the starfish.

Background for the huts is Tim's Ox inks

and die cut from MFT.

Found a few birds flying by.

Sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Unfortunately it was difficult to get a

decent photo. 

The card stock is a cream metallic.

Embossing folder is an old SU one.

Wedding couple are from an un inbranded die.

Finished of with red pearls and sentiment

from Kaisercraft.

What IS hot at Christmas Craft Creations this month?

We are looking for Heat Embossing!

It may be warming up in the Northern Hemisphere

but not in my neck of the woods where a

warm cosy fire is so inviting.

Once again I got out my favourite ARTplorations stag stencil.

 Background is smooched with 

Nuvo Solar Flare shimmer powder

and stencilled with Ranger transparent matte texture paste

from Tim Holtz

Stag was inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne and

sprinkled with black glitter while wet.

Die cut Merry from Tim's Holiday Words dies

and finished by adhering to white card base.
