What's the 'Word' at Just Us Girls?

 Our Host this week at Just Us Girls is the

Lovely Lisa and for our Word Week has chosen 

Kind/Kindness and how appropriate

with so much happening around us..

We have a New Guest for June - 

Welcome Fran Wing.

I saw a card on Pinterest that I liked and

wouldn't you know it - can't find who made it so -

my card is based on that card.

I love Rubbernecker stamps and this is the Bouquet.

An easy way to colour just by simply inking 

my glass mat with Tim's Oxide inks and away I went.

Added a few Nuvo Shimmer Powders to a few for shine.

Hand squiggled around the edges and

threw on some splatters.

Sentiment is from STAMPlorations Bloom Happy.

Flowers for Creative Artiste

Today's post is for the June Challenge at

 Creative Artiste Mixed Media

where Anything Goes using multiple mediums

on your project.

Here is mine as part of the Designers.

I have used recycled cardboard and packing paper.

Inked both the back and front then adding text and 

a gritty white wash  with gritty texture paste.

More layers with chipboard, flowers, real chicken feathers

and wire. Added colour with Lindy's Magicals

and Art Alchemy Waxes.

The blue flower centre piece has 

Little Birdie Embossed Texture Paste 

and puffs up when heated.

Stencil Time at STAMPlorations

 Hello and Welcome. Time for our June Stencil Challenge

over at STAMPlorations

The CRAFTplorations Butterfly 

on this piece was started when I did my

project for our Things with Wings and was a spare

incase I needed it. Determined to use it I went all out here

and added lots of mixed media items.

I used just one stencil here - ARTplorations Crisscrossed

using crackle paste.

Background includes Lindy's Magicals

Chipboard, Cheesecloth, Pearls, Gems, Glitter

Art Alchemy Waxes, Art Stones.

It sure was fun to make this mixed media project.

STAMPlorations Spring Fling Reminder

Here is my Reminder Post for our

Spring Fling/Blog Hop and Linky Party.

Again I am showcasing 

STAMPloration Quick Cards #3 Spring Florals

 Here's a peek! and the sentiment stamp I used

I wanted to do something a little different 

from just using the one sheet I chose so photocopied

it to have a card similar to the triple time stamping

by layering the same way - you get the drift!

They were framed and popped with SU Rich Razzleberry

which matched perfectly.

Sentiment used is STAMPlorations Carved Flowers

Finished with a few pearls and

Adhered to white card base.

Believe in the Magic

 I got my play time in to finish my mixed media tag for the

Tags/ATC's Challenge at

Christmas Craft Creations. Details are Here

I had quite a few die cuts so thought 

I would use a few of them here.

The back tag has been stenciled with Tim's Holiday Knit

with coloured card stock

using texture paste and purple pearl pigment powder.

The smaller white one again with the same stencil

in white texture paste and the top one I used

to add the Christmas Sentiment and a few

stamped snowflakes.

The snowflake dies are Spellbinders

cut from different papers and

smooched with Lindy's Magical's

Added scrunched ribbon and gems to finish.

I have enjoyed getting my Christmas Stash out

and creating recently. Seems I have caught the early bug!

Now to have a tidy up and keep going.

Our first day of Winter here in Australia starts tomorrow

so it's a good time to play.
