Designer's Choice over at The House that Stamps Built

Over at The House that Stamps Built

one of the current challenges is to

Brayer or Sponge.

The stamp they are featuring this week is Daffodils 904 L which is 50% off for blog readers. I was lucky enough I had recently purchased this stamp and just had to mount it and then get inky.

Check out the link below for all the information.

This is what I came up with -

I started off with basic white card stock and heat embossed the daffodil image in black twice - once for the base and the other for the top. Coloured the leaves with Memento Pistachio and the daffodils with Memento Dandelion and Peanut Brittle. Both these colours were used to sponge around the image and also the base card. The sentiment is from Gina K. Added Kaisercraft pearls to the Sizzix Beautiful Wings butterflies and Crystal Effects to the 3 main flowers.

Thanks for looking. Ina.

Very cheery & pretty card Ina! I love daffodils and can't wait to see them here. But we still have a pile of snow, Spring is a little late. Have a great evening/day! Shirleyx

Really great overlay here Ina. That is very classy looking and the colors are spot on. Terrific job with the challenge technique and perfect for Spring; which officially started here today and I'm looking at snow falling...LOL! At least I have your card to live vicariously through.
hugs to you my friend,

This is a beautiful spring card. Love how you layered the effects, and of course love those butterflies to add the tough of elegance. Well, done Ina, love it.....have a good day.

Oh wow Ina...this card is gorgeous! I love how you stamped it out of the frame...kind of a different take on triple layer technique. You really should color more often, because your daffodils look awesome...I also love how you added the crystal accents too...looks FAB my friend!
