For Mother's Day or a Special Lady - Challenge #24 at Crafting with Dragonflies

My card below is for a Special Lady - My Daughter.
I am SO EXCITED that in a few months I will get to
celebrate 2 very special occasions.
My granddaughter is getting married and my younger daughter
is flying over from Perth
(which is over the other side of Australia from where I live)
She is the baby one on my Baby Blog Hop post.

It just so happens we will be able to celebrate her birthday
while she is here so I am a pretty Happy Lady.
It will be a memorable get together as we are flying north
to Cairns for this Special Time.
-----

On to our CHALLENGE. -
As the heading states it is a CARD
for Mother's Day which is 11th May in Australia
or you may have a Special Lady like me
that you can make your card for.
We would like you to go ALL OUT
with this one and make it REALLY SPECIAL.

Our sponsors for this challenge are
Heather Ellis with the Winners receiving 3 digi's from the website
and Meljens Designs who will be able to pick 4 digi's.

I chose the Daisy Pitcher digi from Meljens Designs
and used the following items -
Cream and rose pink card stock
DP from my stash
Own ribbon at the top
Kazzaz Ivory Seam Binding inked with
Iced Spruce Distress Ink to match the Pitcher
Coloured the Digi Image with Monte Marte Pencils
Dimensional Magic on Pitcher
Sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping - Fancy Sentiments
Gold Pearl Liquid Pearls
Antique Linen Distress Ink
Own Pearls
Kaisercraft Teal Pearls
Spellbinders Fancy Labels 2 for Sentiment
Digi is cut out with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles
Carl Punch for small flower on Pitcher
Main flower was sponged with Distress Inks
and Iridescent Medium
Butterfly is from Marianne Designs.

I am sure you will want to check out the other
Dragonfly Designers on the right hand side
to see what beautiful cards they have made for our

Mother's Day/Special Lady Challenge.
----

And on a sadder note
This is my last post for Crafting with Dragonflies.
For the present I need to cut back a little on my Crafting time.

I would like to say the biggest Thank You to Hilde
who had faith in my work and invited me
to be part of her Design Team when this blog started.
Some of the Challenges we shared over the last 10 months
certainly took me out of my comfort zone
several times but loved the fact that I got to
try out new ideas.
Next I would like to say Thank You to my
Fellow Design Team Friends for all the
help and encouragement we shared.
It has been an amazing journey.

I am just cutting back on some commitments for now
and will still be sharing my work when time permits.

So stay tuned

Thank you so much for stopping by..

We will certainly miss you Ina - your encouragement and thoughtfulness are greatly appreciated. I will now confess that I stole the dimensional layer on my pitcher from you! Yours just looked so beautiful I had to try it - a lovely touch! The whole card is super too - hope your family get-together and wedding go well, and Easter is a super time for you, and that DH's hip is doing what it should!
