I Love to 'SPLAT'

Over at The Mod Squad there is a
Fabulous Challenge going on and Good Friends
Judy Woodland and Vicki Dutcher are Hosting.
What is it? Create your Inner 'SPLAT'
Details - Here
I love that kind of technique - getting a little bit inky
and creating a great result.
I decided not to go with a splatter stencil
instead inked up several TH distress inks,
wet them and added my splats to water colour paper
with a sheet of plastic. I did add a touch of
black splats to match up with my
Happy Birthday die from Spellbinders
and the butterfly from Inkadinkado
(which has been heat embossed for the first time)
Cut my card stock using a stitched die
and popping for dimension.
***
I thought the colours of those decorations on
the yummy cupcakes were similar to those I used above
so entering it in the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #377

Hope you like what you see.
I love reading your comments.
Thanks for dropping in

Awesome card, you have captured the challenge perfectly. LOVE that you used the acetate for your splatters, that takes a little skill and talent. Your colors are stunning, with of course the purple added in there. It does not go unnoticed...lol. And then that beautiful butterfly, well done. Thanks for playing long with us this week over at Mod Squad.
