So you're back too see my other Acetate Card?
You then know it is for the CAS Mix Up Challenge
oops!
Before I go any further I just noticed I didn't add the
Graphics to my first Acetate card so off to fix it.
little different with the Acetate
and it's pretty simple!
I delved into my bits box and found
some smooched (again) oxide inked paper
and cut out 2 dies (unknown) then
repeated with Acetate. I embossed
all 4 die cuts with Swiss Dots to add
a bit of texture. When I glued the Acetate
I did so slightly to the side.
My card base is cream and added a strip of
kraft paper as a backing for my dies.
Finished with a sentiment from Inspired by Stamping,
a tiny Waffle Flower bow, a few gems and
corner rounding.
My Mix is Acetate, die cutting, watercolour smooching,
stamping and dry embossing.

Thanks once again for dropping in.
I'm off for some Sister Time for a long week end
so no crafting. But I do get to spend up
at a craft store as I have a Gift Voucher
she gave me for Christmas. Yay!
Oh! you will see a scheduled post
as Saturday is Just Us Girls Challenge Day.
It's something very different for me.
Till next time - Cherrio

The acetate top layer of your card really gives it so much shine and lets all the gorgeous colour from your smooshed layer show through. Great design Ina! Thanks for sharing with us again at CAS Mix Up!! xx
Love the acetate it adds shine and class Ina.

Love how you enjoy trying out different techniques etc. Gorgeous card Ina and love how you did the die cut flowers x Enjoy your 'Sister' time and thank you for playing along at CAS Mix Up with your fabulous card x
ACK - I gotta go find some acetate in my craft room. This is amazing and so stinkin' creative. Love how you have given those elements texture and then layered them together. Great colors too, unusual but really pretty together. Great inspiration here!!! LOVE IT!!!
Adding the acetate really makes this look fabulous and so shimmery. Great technique for making a stunning showpiece for your card.
What a gorgeous, CAS card! I love the acetate...I've never tried adding acetate in this way, but wow! What a fabulous effect you have created on this card, SS!
This is a very creative way to use the acetate, Ina.
Another clever way to use acetate, Ina! LOve these little flowers with the sweet bow! Thanks for sharing with us again at CAS Mix Up!
So so pretty Ina, love your matching coloured senetiment, it's ties it together perfectly!
Such clever use of the acetate, Ina! It makes the flowers really pop and seems to intensify the colour along with adding great shine!
The die cut acetate over the die cut flowers makes them so shiny and the embossed dots add great texture Ina! Thanks for sharing, again, with us at CAS Mix Up! Julia xx
Love the layering of the smooshed flowers and the acetate ones - such pretty colours in the smooshing and then great shine from the acetate. It looks great with the panel of kraft cs. Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up.
Such a smart approach on those flowers, I bet the dry embossing must have added lots of texture. Love the detail on the sentiment to recall the flower colour, along with the 3 gems.
Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up!
