It's Word Week with a B at Just Us Girls

Hi there and Welcome.
Today's post is of course for
Just Us Girls 'cause it's Saturday.
I am Hosting this week and it's
Word Week - I chose
BOLD!

As you can see I went Bold with Bright Colours.
Once again my Brusho's came out for the background.
I stenciled my floral image with white texture paste
mixed with orange acrylic paint.
This was cut from a stitched die as was the orange
background paper.
Added a gem to the middle of the flower
also some orange Nuvo Drops to the background.
Sentiment is from STAMPlorations
and cut from a MFT die.

It's a new month which means we have a
New Guest Designer - Talented Karren Johnson
Welcome Karren - lovely to have you join us.

That's it for me. Now pop over and see what
Karren and the Jugheads have boldly created
and come join us in our Gallery this week.

Thanks for dropping in

WOW!! BOLD is right! This is gorgeous. LOVE the brushos background. Great contrast to that bright orange stenciled flower. I have never mixed acrylic paint with embossing paste before ... looks amazing!! Thanks for the tip Ina! xx

Well you certainly nailed this challenge, you can't get much BOLDER than this. I LOVE what you have done with that flower, and the gorgeous background is perfect to showcase that big red bloom. WELL DONE, my dear. Well done!!! LOVE it!

Love how the orange stencil paste really pops on the Brusho background, I didn't realize how well the colour holds up!

That was a perfect stencil to make a bold orange flower for your card, Ina. The irregularity of the Brusho background looks like an explosion of color to show off the flower.

Talk about a bold burst of colour, Ina! The background is stellar and the textured orange flower is a show-stopping delight! Love this!! Thank you ever so much for the sweet, glowing comment about my niece's card; she'll be over-the-moon thrilled when I call and share it with her!

The stencilled flower really pops, Ina! So clever mixing the paint with the texture paste! Orange always adds that certain something to darker background!
