It's WORD WEEK at Just Us Girls

It's Saturday and JUGS DAY!
Hi and Welcome to today's post.
It's a new month and that means a
New Guest Designer.
Welcome to  Patti Kehl from Stationary Styles
So nice to have you join us this month!

Sue is Hosting this weeks challenge
choosing SHADOW STAMPING.

I have gone cas here with images from an old
SU Pocket Silhouettes Set inking with
different ink colours from Hampton Art
and stamping off a second time for the shadow effect.
Sentiment is from STAMPlorations.
The floral images were cut from MFT and popped.

#NOTE Adding this card for Helen's Feminine Challenge at
Watercooler Challenge
I thought it a nice girly card.

I made another quick card as I wasn't sure which one
I liked better.

The tree I used here is from an Australian Company
Stamp It  - Large Conifer. I inked the front image
with Memento Luxe Northern Pine. It's a gorgeous green.
I then stamped off the rest of the trees to create a shadow effect.
Sponged a little to the bottom with SU Tip Top Taupe
attaching it to a stitched die white background and on to
my card base which is also Tip Top Taupe.

That's it for me today.
Pop over and see how our
New Guest Designer Patti Kehl
and the Team interpreted 'Shadow'
and come join us in our Gallery.
By doing so you could be chosen as
Chic of the Week and go on to be our
Guest in June.

Both cards are lovely, Ina! I love the beautiful shades of blue on the first. Just that little bit different with it's layout, however, I do love the trees. too!

Second generation was a great way to create your shadows, Ina. The taupe looks perfect grounding the trees.

These are wonderful cards showing off shadow stamping, SS. I haven't done this in quite awhile, so now you've inspired me. The one with the blue florals is adorable and I love the way you shadowed from the center of the card outward with the tree. Two beauties!

LOVE both your cards. The clean and simple one with the 3 panels is genius, I'm pinning. I like the one with the trees too, looks like a serene misty morning in Northern Michigan!

Both cards are lovely, Ina! The trio of panels on the first is lovely! As for your trees...something 'misty magical' about them! Shadow sensational x two!

Both cards are wonderful but I prefer the conifer one myself.

These are both beautiful! Love the flowers in the blue on that awesome clean design and those trees look amazing on your second card.

Your first card is so elegant and so pretty and love the tones of the blues. Very atmospheric second card, with the graduating of the stamping of the conifer tree and the misty taupe at the bottom. Both cards are fabulous Ina and of course we mustn't have favourites so I shall just say they are both perfect x

Your cards are both beautiful!! I can see why you had difficulty selecting a favorite!! : ) I really love the delicate shadows you created on each one.

Ina I love your shadow stamping with the Serene Silhouettes stamp. This has always been one of my favourites and I was so sad to see it retired. Great job. Thanks so much for sharing on the "Feminine Anything Goes" challenge this week at Watercooler Wednesday.

I love them both too Ina! I can see why you couldn't decide! The misty background on your second card was brilliant! Awesome as always! I feel like a broken record!

Wonderful cards, Ina. I especially love the triptych you created with the Pocket Silhouettes Set (which I still own). Using the three different inks really adds to the interest as does that shadow technique you've used. A stunning clean and simple card. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Two wonderful cards using shadow stamping Ina. It's just a great technique. I still have my pocket silhouettes and pull them out every once in a while. They are such fun images to work with. xx
