Gone 'Potty' for Addicted to Stamps and More

Hello and Welcome.
I'm here today for our new Challenge over at
As you can see it's our photo challenge

Now I was stumped with this photo as I
have NO succulent stamps in my stash
and the next best thing was to concentrate
on what I did have - a pot to put my
pretty flowers in. I didn't even go with the
pretty coloured ones here - must have been
in my own little world. I think the dp I chose
had a bit to do with that.

The stamp I used here is
and has the stamps and dies - Yay!
I started with my background which is a grunge
digi paper from Doodle Pantry. I attached that
to a white card base and added a teeny strip
of paper to the side adding colour and to match my potted flowers.
I embossed some white card stock with an old CB folder
then cut out part of a circle with a MFT stitched die.
Attached that to my background
and went to work on my flowers.
The green leaves are from a WOS pen and the flowers
coloured with SU markers.
I then concentrated on the pot playing with a variety
of products - Magicals in burnt orange
coloured markers to get a worn look
and inside with some Prima Artisan Powder
leaving it as is to look like 'real dirt'.
This was popped after I stamped and cut out
my sentiment tucking it behind the pot.
Added a few gems to finish.

Here's the Set I used.

Funny enough I used this set just recently.
If you want to see that one it's Here

Pop over and see what my Team Mates created
and come join us this week.
Hope to see you in our Gallery.

I love the layout of your card Ina and the little strip down the side is a great design feature. I love the masculine feel to it and it would be great for a garden-loving man like my husband.

Well done with the potted plant idea, must admit I was stumped at first with this one too. :)

Your pot truly looks like it's terracotta! That grunge wood background is so perfect with it. I love how you focused on the pot aspect of the photo, very creative!
