It's an Oldie but a Goodie

Hi there Crafty Ones.
Over at Just Us Girls it's Trend Week
and Sue has chosen something a little different -
Fast Watercolours!
You may think how does this work?
Here is a link to none other than
Jennifer McGuire's tutorial to showcase how she has done it.
 I played around with an
old technique and an old stamp
to make my fast watercolour flower.
It's from the SU Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set.
I heat embossed it with white e/p on glossy paper, then wet
it dropping Calypso Coral/Melon Mambo
and Yo Yo Yellow with a water brush and let it spread
(with a little bit of help) then fussy cut it.
My background is embossed with SU Manhatten Flower.
I then added the sentiment from Pink & Maine.
Attached the Kaisercraft leaves
and popped my flower. Corner rounded one edge
and adhered to Bazzill card stock to match the flower.

Hope you pop over and see how our
August Guest Ros Crawford
and the Team chose to interpret this Trend.
Should be fun to see what transpired
in our Gallery this week.
Thanks for dropping in.

LOVE your take on this. That flower really pops against the white, and embossing the background is genius!!! Just beautiful!

Gorgeous card. I will have to find time to try this soon. You really did an excellent job with that technique. Next week I have three different doctor appts. so don't know if I will be crafting that much.
