Hello and Welcome.
I am finally getting back to normal after my
recent Birthday Celebrations.
Today I am posting for the New Challenge
over at CAS Mix Up where my
Super Talented Good Friend
Super Talented Good Friend
MacMable is Host choosing
Here is my first take on this challenge
(yes there will be more)
My Mix is Metal, Stamping
Heat Embossing and more...
I started by cutting out my background from
Uniquely Creative Cross Hatch Texture Die
Heat embossing with Stampendous
Aged Copper Embossing Enamel
(don't you love the 2 toned colours)
You need to heat emboss from underneath
otherwise the enamel will fly off somewhere else
otherwise the enamel will fly off somewhere else
I then cut 2 dies from Tim's Wildflowers.
These were heat embossed differently with
Stampendous Chunky White and Aged Copper
also adding Cyan Pearl Pigment Powder
while still melting. I did have a bit of trouble
with the white trying to hang on to the thin stems
My background is lightly sponged with
Ken Oliver's Liquid Copper Powder.
I distressed the edges and inked with Versacolor Bronze
I then attached the Cross Hatch Die and flowers.
Inked my sentiment from 49ANDMarket.
Attached a tiny die cut bow from Waffle Flower
and finished by adhering to white card base.
Thanks so much for dropping in.
Love reading your Kind Comments.

This is just gorgeous, love the background.xxx
Loving the two tone embossing powder Ina and the way you finished your beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing at CAS Mix Up!
Cool design and great layout. This is wonderful.
Very creative design Ina. Lots of mixed media elements, but still a CAS design. Fabulous work! Love the two tone of the heat embossed cross-hatch. Great job heat embossing those very thin flowers using three different embossing powders. Beautiful mix of colour Ina. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
What an interesting beauty. The blue and copper EP are so convincing to me. This definitely looks like metal, no doubt. Love what you did to Tim's wildflowers too. The close up gives the impression of enamel. Repeating the same EP on the deckled edge gives it so much harmony.
Thanks so much for sharing and joining us at CAS Mix Up! xx
Wow, your card is amazing! Love the wonderful texture from your heat embossing and I think you've done an amazing job with Mac's technique! :) Thanks for sharing!
Stunning Mixing of the medias to produce a real stand out card.
The colours of the embossing enamels are fabulous and so unique.
I love how the heat embossing just melts and looks so molten.
The aged copper with the hint of the patina green is a marvellous faux metal look for the challenge. The chunks of white chunky powders look amazing too.
Stunning mixed media elements and yet keeping it CAS and your attention to detail always amazes me.
Thank you Ina for the very kind and generous shout out x
With my DT hat on....Thank you for adding this stunner to The CAS Mix Up Gallery x.
That is such an unusual die and makes the most beautiful background for the TH Wildflowers Ina, and love the copper verdigris look to it, and in contrast the pretty blue and white on the flowers, also the inked distressed edge to the mat. A brilliant card! x
Loving those distressed edges with the metal, Ina.
Love your embossed cross hatch die cut Ina! Such a different design! and your blue and white flowers look wonderful laid over it! thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up! xx
Gorgeous faux metal textures on your cross hatch die and your wildflower dies. Love the 2 tones on your cross hatch and the encrusted white on your flowers. TFS Ina and joining us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs..Nancy
