I had a wee bit of time up my sleeve and saw the
challenge over at The Mod Squad
Hello and Welcome.
I am just finishing off the last of my Christmas creations
and thought this card would be just perfect.
It was a really simple and quick card to make especially
for this busy time of year.
My critter is from
and my sentiment
I mixed some Art Alchemy metallique paint in
Rustic Brown with some clear crackle medium
for my stag head and let dry.
I had some leftover paint on my mat
and decided to use it up on the sentiment
and smashing onto watercolour card for a background.
I cut that with a stitched die then adhered the sentiment
and popped up my stag head. Added a pearl
for his eye. Card base is basic white.
That's all for now
till next time - Thanks for popping in

Simply beautiful, my dear. I love the neutral color palette, very classy. And you have reminded me that I better get my Christmas card in the mail to you....always takes FOREVER for you to get them.
Fabulous card design. I love the gold too.
What a wonderful look of metal on your stag head and sentiment Ina! Your watery background is perfect for it all! xx
That's great that you're finishing your Christmas Cards Ina - not so for me yet. Love the texture on this one - very cool.
A really interesting design and elements, Ina! Love that metallic look.
Ina, I am loving this...so unique and spontaneous. Great use of mixing the paints and the crackle medium and what a fabulous effect. Loving the tones of browns and one glorious card x
Whoa, the metallic paint you used on the stag and sentiment looks amazing with the crackle medium! Very rustic and incredibly festive at the same time! NJ!
