Creating 'Floral Elegance'

Nice to have you pop in to see what my latest project is for

We start off our July Challenge today and as always
It's Anything Goes using multiple mediums.
I was so impressed with a project from one of the entries
in our last Challenge and decided to case it.
You can find it  Here. I just hope I did it justice.

Here's how it all started!
After priming with Gesso I stenciled my canvas
with paste to add texture.
After it was dry I adhered this lovely lace.
and then to add colour with
Distress Oxide Ink, Nuvo Shimmer Powder
and Art Alchemy Wax (and it smells divine)
Oh! just what flowers will I use here
next to my resin frame?
Adding a bit more colour with some champagne relief paste
and painted cabachons.
Showing you some shimmer!
Nearly done! Added my flowers, attached the cabachons
and added a coffee stirring stick with my sentiment.
I felt something was missing so found some chunky gold glitter
and added it carefully to the bottom right hand corner
of the resin frame. Also 3 small pearls to the lace.

Here's another view!

Pop over and see what my Team Mates created this month.
There's loads of inspiration for you to cast your eyes over.
Maybe you would like to try your hand at Mixed Media?
It really is a lot of fun - why not give it a go and join us this month.

Till next time!

So beautiful and eleant, Ina. I love the paste for texture and that beautiful lace, and the frame and flowers are perfect for this design.
