Ho Ho Ho and all That!

Welcome to todays post for Just Us Girls
The Lovely Lisa is Host and chose a
super image with lots of goodies to choose from.
What took my eye was the framed piece
sitting on the bench. I knew straight away
what I would use here.
Here's a bigger picture!

I hadn't planned to use my background for that purpose -
I was going to use it for my cut out but it turned out
so nicely that it landed up there.
I scrunched some tissue paper and adhered to card stock,
went over it with VersaFine and heat embossed
using WOW Metallic Platinum powder.
I then used the same powder for my CUTplorations
Holidays Word Die Plate. Attached that then
die cut my frame adhering to metallic paper
and finishing with my card base.
A super die plate for an easy Christmas card make.
Pop over and see what our Guest Rachel took from the photo
and the Team's inspiration also.
Thank you Rachel for sharing your creativity with us
this month as our Guest.

#NOTE Have you wanted to be a part of
this Amazing Team? Now is your chance.
Add your card to our Gallery with DT beside it
and you could be part of the Jugheads in 2022.
Good Luck!

As we do each year we take December off
to spend time with family and friends if we are able -
and to replenish our craftiness for the New Year so
we will be back in full swing on 1st January.

PS I am lucky enough to be flying north to
spend Christmas with family. Swanning by the pool
keeping cool and enjoying my fill of fresh seafood
with a little wine on the side. It's the Tropics. Fun eh!

Enjoy Christmas wherever and whoever you are with.

What a cool background! I had to zoom in to see all the texture. I love how you saw that sign on the counter in the photo too! Lovely card. Happy holidays!

Amazing creation! I love that faux silk background with the platinum highlights making the perfect background for that big die cut sentiment. The faux silk technique was always one of my favorites!

I really didn't notice that framed picture, Ina, but you replicated it perfectly. I love the tissue look in the background with the gold lettering over it.
