The Merriest Christmas!

It's time for the last Anything Goes Challenge of the Year at
and being December - what else to make but
A Mixed Media Christmas Creation.

The start of my project was to add
gesso and some old crackle paste that
didn't crack much on to torn corrugated cardboard.
Moving on to the tag part I cut the white one
slightly smaller adding text, a bit of blue smooching
and distressing the edges.
Here are the colours from the Lindy's Magicals for my leaves
 with leftovers for the deer.
Placing Tim's Holiday Green dies, some dry wall tape
and snow to the bottom.
and some finishing touches -
red cotton bow, red kindy glitz on the berries,
waxing around the edges and
on the branches.

One last look!

That's it for this years Mixed Media Makes.
Now head over and see what my Talented Teamies made
for your inspiration as we would love to
see your creative creations over at our Anything Goes
using multiple mediums.
Let your imagination run riot
and get those fingers messy -
the inks and things washes off easy.
I have had so much fun creating as part of the Team
and look forward to doing it all over again in the New Year.
A Big Thank You to Andree and my Mixed Media Mates
for a wonderful creative year together.

#Note The Creative Artiste Girls are taking a break in January
but will be back in full swing for our February Challenge.

# Update - sending this over to the The Mixed Media Lovers
for their  Challenge #8
Have yourselves a Merry Christmas!
See you then!

Oh, I LOVE this Christmas mixed media creation, Ina! I’m so glad to learn that crackle paste has a further use once it doesn’t crackle anymore. I might have thrown mine out had I not seen this post. I like the snowy texture it makes. That deer die is so wonderfully regal looking. I love the bits of waxing and glitz too. Great layers and textures throughout this art piece.

What a stunning project! I love the Rustie vibe and how you used the corrugated card for the background and distressed the different embellishments - perfect 😁. Thanks for the inspiration and Happy December! Wishing you the merriest Christmas too! Hugs Jo x

You made great use of that crackle paste Ina your snowy display makes for a grand canvas to show off your wintery mixed media scene. The ruby wax is a very classy and traditional festive colour to edge it all. Beautiful creation.
Wishing you a wonderful December Hugs Tracey x
