Flowers are Nature's Blessings

Today's post is for the New Anything Goes
Mixed Media Challenge over at

Craft time has been hit and miss lately with lots happening
on the farm. Lucky what I made came together easily
and I even managed to take some photos along the way.
It wasn't what I planned but time wasn't on my side -
so going with a CAS Mixed Media make.
Here's a quick run down on how it came together
and the products I used.
Project is 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 on heavy watercolour paper
Lindy's Magical's Victorial Bouquet
Cowabunga Copper
Nuvo  Solo Flare Shimmer Powder
Ken Oliver Copper Liquid Metal
AA Rust Brown Matte Wax
AALL&Create Stamp #292
" Washi Tape #1 #9 #11
Carabelle Studio Flowers
Tissue Paper
Matte Gel Medium, Gesso
Sentiment
Black Card Stock.

And some pics!

The background with Magical's and adding washi tape

After random stamping around the edges
I inked the flowers on tissue paper and coloured.
Diluted gesso was added before adhering
the flowers with gel medium.

Adding the sentiment and adhering to
black background to complete.

Head over and see what inspirational Mixed Media Makes
the Team created. They would love to read your comments
as I do and we would love to see you play this month
and add to our Gallery.
Thanks for visiting

A rich composition (not so CAS for me ;) ), the different techniques go so well together.
