We are celebrating our #100th Challenge at
with this challenge a little different to our usual Anything Goes.
Christmas is just a few weeks away
and have added the option of
Anything Goes Mixed Media with a
Christmas Theme.
Our Talented Guest Betta
and the Team have gone with
a special Mixed Media Christmas make.
After coming home from a little holiday
I was full of ideas but Mo and Jo were overwhelmed
hence it took me a few days to narrow down what I wanted to create.
As it turned out what I started with is nothing like
what I had in mind and in the end it just wasn't me
so I started all over again and again!
When you want to do something special you
overthink it and try too hard.
In the end and running out of time I am
finally happy with my Christmas Creation.
Here is some progress photos
I wasn't happy with this background and it
did go in the bin only to come out the next day.
(Things weren't going to planat this stage)
adding kraft paper with splatters and rolled to top part
then added rolled paper from an old book.
Inked the edges with AA Rusty Brown Wax.
Then deciding what elements to add.
Art stones, crystal snow and cheescloth.
Tim's Holiday Greens, Deer with more snow,
Die cut envelope and note
Joy die is Kaisercraft inked and covered in Nuvo
Hollywood Red Sparkle Dust and adhered to
thick cardboard. Somewhere along the way
I lost the itty bitty i.
Finished with some sequins, gems and chipboard pieces I left natural.
Design Team Member Fiona has kindly donated
this prize for one lucky Winner!
Looking forward to seeing all the lovely projects.
Hope yours will be there.
PS - As we do each year we take January off to freshen up
our creativeness and get over Christmas/New Year festivities 😊
Thank you for all your kind comments during the year.
See you in Febraury!
Have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Ina, what beautiful festive piece of Christmas art. It is stunningly beautiful. Have a wonderful holiday season and I am looking forward to working with you in 2024. hugs Judy
It must've felt so gratifying to end up with this beautiful piece after starting over, Ina!! I love all the little things in here that are tiny indicators and reminders of holiday cheer. The tiny spots of red make a lovely complement to the white and the kraft paper. Hope you have a wonderful festive season. xo
Oh Ina I'm so pleased you rescued this from your bin. I love the way it turned out - so many gorgeous details which caught my eye - the reindeer obviously as I love reindeer on projects. But that little envelope with the writing and the christmas stamp mark - I love that idea. And the twirls of paper - is inspired. Love it - have a wonderful Christmas time.
Another "WOW" card Ina. I love all the layers, textures, and dimension of your card. It's amazing, my friend. xx
Wow, what an amazing make! Loving all the 3D elements and how everything came together, the central Christmas deer and foliage are beautiful 😊. Wishing you a Happy December ❤️. Hugs, Jo x
