I'm a Happy Little Christmas Stamper!

Hello there my Crafty Friends
I have some really exciting news for you -
I have been invited to be on the
Design Team for Happy Little Stampers.
I am on the Christmas Team
so you will see Christmas coming monthly from me.
Thanks Kylie for the opportunity to be part of your Amazing Team.

The Christmas Challenge for July at
Happy Little Stampers is

Here is my first card - with lots of die cuts!
I am also excited about this card because I got to
play with new 'stuff'' from my recent Crafty time away.
First of all I HAD to (being a Scot) have the Scottie Dog -
I have wanted him for ages and when I saw him
he just jumped right out at me.
He is from Cottage Cutz
Next my Christmas sentiment die is a newbie from Paper Roses.
I love it as it is nice and small - will get lots of use!
Okay - now on to the rest -
The hills were cut out with stitched dies.
I should have used some glitter paper but I forgot and
sprinkled glitter all over my glued paper cuts then I had to
wait till it dried - you know how it is waiting for paint to dry
well I landed up leaving it overnight.
The trees are also die cut and inked with
Hero Arts White Pigment Ink
to try and give them a snowy look.
Unfortunately the ink soaked in a bit.
Added some snowflakes which are stamped from
a stamp from the SU Avant Garden on to my blue paper
and because the ink stayed wet for some time
sprinkled some glitter to them and the trees
(a little hard to see here)
As you can see the hills have been popped.

I hope you will pop over to The Happy Little Stampers Blog
and check out what the Christmas Design Team created
and come join in the fun.
It's never tooooooo early to make those Christmas Cards.
You know it always comes around all too quickly.
And
Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon
to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.

Thanks for dropping by today.
Love reading your comments.

Such a gorgeous card Ina. Just that little bit different to the traditional which is great. I know someone who would love that little scotty dog!
