It's the First Twofer Challenge!

Hi there! So glad you dropped in
'cause I am delighted to see the
Fabulous Twofer Card Challenge #1 is Live!
We all (or should) know the Delightful Darnell
who is challenging us to make 2 different cards
with the same stamp/die but for 2 different occasions.
I know there are going to be gazillions
of crafters out there to encourage
Darnell and her Fabulously Talented Team
on there New Journey
SO...... let the fun begin.
I was sooooooooooooooo excited
when I saw what the prompt was FEATHERS!
and I had only recently got out my favourite
SU Four Feathers Set for another card.
***
On to Card 1
The current and addictive challenge over at
CAS Mix Up is to use cling wrap
and what better way to show off my feathers!
I used Brusho's on glossy photo paper
popped onto stitched die cut card stock.
Sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
Added a few gems and attached cotton
to the feathers.
(Close up)

Card 2
I made as a male card.
The background woodgrain is from
Dark Room Door and stamped with
Tim's Frayed Burlap as is the
front feather. The other two are
in Gathered Twigs.
These were popped in front of
some wrapping paper from some
sweets my sister received from
an overseas friend and is very brittle.
Just knew it would come in handy one day!
Sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping.
Finished with some jute on the feathers.
***
So of course these cards are going over to
The Twofer Challenge over Here
Please go over and check out what
the Darnelle Designers have created
and Card 1 for their
CAS Mix Up January Challenge

My Mix is Cling Wrap, Die cutting and Stamping.

Thanks so much for coming by today
Till next time - Cherrio from

Both cards are fabulous Ina!! Love the cling wrap technique on the blue and green feathers. The colours are so vivid using the glossy card. And gorgeous mix of elements in neutral tones for your second card. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge, and entering Card #1 at CAS Mix Up! xx

Goodness, those brusho cling wrap feathers are so rich and jewel like, Ina ... I love the depth and the colours that really pop against all that glorious white! Gorgeous neutrals on your second card ... fabulous with the woodgrain background, that cool, texture-y layer behind the feathers, and the twine tie! Thanks so much for playing along with us at our inaugural Twofer Card Challenge! Anita :)

Both of your cards are wonderful, Ina! I'm impressed at how you stretched those feathers into two very different looks! Those bright Brusho feathers are jaw dropping! You've mastered that masculine birthday card with your tones of brown and the textures you incorporated. Thanks so much for joining in on the fun over at Twofer Card Challenge!

These cards are outstanding, Ina. I wish I had thought to use one of my Brusho panels on my feathers. Yours look gorgeous cut from it. The monochromatic masculine card is excellent in its design and details. Some of my favorites of yours, mf.

WOW! Two gorgeous feather cards! They make me want to pull out my SU feathers! Love, love, love the colors and patterns of the cling wrap feathers and the layout of the masculine card is fantastic! Love the little piece of repurposed paper! The perfect place for it! Thanks for sharing with us again at CAS Mix Up!

Goodness, where to start?! Well I guess first I have to start with Bonnie. Normally I don't read other comments because then my own thoughts fly out of my wee head, but I happened to see Bonnie's...I mean, how's she gonna look if she pulls out her feathers?!!

Seriously, Ina, both of these cards are outstanding designs! I am going to bookmark this and remember to cut feathers from some of my vivid Brusho backgrounds! I love the look! And that manly card is out of this world filled with texture, testosterone, and tremendous dimension! Using that old sweetie paper is going that extra mile!!

Thank you so much for your enthusiastic support and kind shoutout!! Mwah! Hugs, Darnell
