Hello and Welcome. Today's post is for our
CAS Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps & More
I bought this stamp set from Kaisercraft
some time ago because I liked what I thought -
a very Australian image of Gumnuts.
I started by lightly stenciling my background with
Tim's Stone Stencil in Antique Linen
then inking my image with
Versafine Clair Falling Leaves ink
(it's a very dark brown but looks black)
I went on to the colouring and blending with
Tim's Gathered Twigs/Mowed Lawn
Crushed Olive and Carved Pumpkin
enhancing the colour with touches of
Hag's Wart Orange and Canna Lilly Burnt Orange
from Lindy's Magicals.
Added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer and
a touch of glossy accents.
Sentiment is inked as above and from
49AND MARKET.
This was cut from a Postage Die
and popped on to the larger die cut
and slightly popped again to my card base.
This card will be going over to the
CAS Watercolour Blog for their
Congratulation to Bonnie & Loll for giving us
2 years of Fabulous Watercolour Challenges
and to all the Design Team and Guests for their
Monthly Inspiration and Encouragement.
Thanks for dropping in.
Love reading your comments.

Lovely card Ina, the gumnuts are so typical of our country.xx
Very pretty Ina!! I have never seen gumnuts in person (or even heard of them), but now I know they are really beautiful. I love the bright green leaves with bright orange blooms. Gorgeous watercolouring over top of the soft stenciled background. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx
Never heard of gumnuts but it is a lovely image! :)
BEAUTIFUL card Ina!! Love your water colored image over the light stenciling...very pretty! I've never heard of gumnuts either, but they are quite lovely with the green and orange! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at CAS Watercolour! :0)
Loving this!!! The die cut panels are so cool and inspired, and I love the background with the stamp on top, colored beautifully. Very, very nice!

So very beautiful with the wonderful coloring of the image and the postage stamp die cut layers. The subtle background shows off the gumnuts so well too. I guess gumnuts is something I am not familiar with but they sure look pretty on your card.
The postage stamp die cuts are a great frame for that pretty stamp Ina. The stencilling looks great and the colouring and the light shimmer look wonderful. Fabulous inspiration....Thank you x
Meant to say I haven't hear of gumnuts either but they are really pretty x
Love all the dimension with the die cut panels, Ina, and the gumnut (?) image is beautifully painted.
