It's Saturday and here is my post for Just Us Girls
Lisa is Hosting our Colour Week and has chosen
gorgeous bright colours! Way to Go!
I had a lot of fun making this card.
It's been a long time since I used masking tape
to ink up. That is what I did here using
different sizes using the same colours as above.
Blended the three colours and toned it down
slightly with Hero Arts Unicorn ink.
Added some grunge from STAMPlorations
Mixed Media Elements (a favourite of mine)
a few random circles and my butterfly with
VersaFine Clair then heated the butterfly with
Lindy's That's Marble-ous Chunky Embossing Powder.
Here's a close up to show you how chunky it is.
There's even little chunky flakes and there are
two on the bottom side of the butterfly if you look really close.
I then coloured the back card stock with the
Picked Raspberry and added Lawn Fawn
Stitched Borders to the side.
Sentiment is from Tim's Small Talk Stickers.
Adhered to white card base to finish.

Awesome background and design elements! I absolutely love that chunky embossing powder you used on the butterfly for an amazing effect.
What a cool technique! I remember this one, although I never tried it. You did an amazing job with it, and I love the chunky embossing powder. Fabulous card!
