Time to show off my latest Mixed Media Make for
I seem to spend a lot of time trying to get
my background just right and often go too far.
Lucky this turned out fine in the end.
Here are some photos of the making.
Started with Gesso, adding AA Red Wine Metallic Paint
a white wash and some gold speckles,
Lindy's Autumn Maple Crimson, Jolly Roger Red,
Ken Oliver Copper, Stenciling, Script Stamping,
art stones flowers, AA wax,
gold thread, glitter and some inked rings.
Pop over and see what's in store
from the Designers this month and
we would love to see you join us
with your Mixed Media Project.
There are so many different styles to
be creative and just have fun with.
Thanks for visiting.

Wow, what a beautiful panel! The background looks stunning with the richness of the colours and all the layers that you created 😁. It's the perfect backdrop for those gorgeous flowers and embellishments too - love it! Thanks for the mixed media inspiration and Happy October! Hugs Jo x

Your background looks amazing Ina and what a fabulous mixed media creation Ina x.
I don't think there's any such thing as going to far with backgrounds they offer a beautiful foundation for mixed media creations and this one is stunning Ina. The focal floral display is so pretty, those gold rings add just the right amount of sparkle. Beautiful work.
Happy creative October Tracey x
Beautiful mixed media design and colors too!
Ina, this mixed media make is SO pretty! The background looks absolutely amazing. I really love everything about it. All the detail bits are fun to find and make this a great collage piece.
A lovely panel Ina. Beautifully rich colours, fabulous textures and a pretty floral focal point xx
Beautiful colour scheme and textures Ina. Love it. The design is just perfect. Have a creative month . Judy
I love your background; the black seems grey here and goes so well with the pink tones. The focal point is beautiful.
