Today's post is for the New Challenge at
Just Us Girls and
it's Trend Week and Hosting is Sue choosing
After several attempts and choosing the wrong dies
my card came about by accident.
I was die cutting the main flower for another card
and the penny dropped - this would look great
as a stenciled background!
So you will see two cards in quick succession
with this same flower. I have only recently got
Tim's Wildflower Stems #1
Both sides of stencil - one for the inked background
the other some nearly dried up crackle paste.
How easy it was to use that die as a stencil!
and a close up
Items used are
Watercolour paper/white card base
Tim's Wildflower Stems #1
Kitsch Flamingo Oxide Ink
Lindy's Alpine Ice Rose
Crackle Paste
Art Alchemy Indian Pink Wax
STAMPlorations Sentiment
Memento Ink
Head over and see how my Team Mates
created their projects and come and have fun
with this weeks Trend.
Thanks for visiting.

Thanks for the detailed photos Ina as I loved seeing the fabulous effect with the crackle paste, the lindy's and the Kitsch oxide ink. Such a beautiful card, unique and also very feminine....so pretty x.

What a happy accident! I love the beautiful, crackled flowers! That background is so soft and pretty making for the perfect backdrop.
Over the top and super cool, Ina! I just love your creativity!
That flower looks exquisite with the crackle paste, Ina. I love the rather monochrome look too.
What an absolutely lovely card, Ina; as always, your collage style dazzles!

Awesome texture on this card it turned out fabulous!
Wow! What an amazing stencilling job, Ina. The use of the same stencil to ink the background and then to add the modeling paste is brilliant.
