Did you blink and February disappeared?
It did for me and found myself being reminded
the New Challenge for
Creative Artiste Mixed Media was due.
Lucky for me it has been raining steadily all day
as well as last night so perfect day to get inky.
Sorry there are no progress photos this time
but a run down on how it was made
and products used.
So glad my playtime was creative and
turned out quite nicely.
I used Canson 300g Cold Press W/C paper
inking up Tim's Crackling Campfire and
Peeled Paint inks for the background.
Stencilled AALL&Create Moc Croc and
Art Anthology with texture paste,
liking that it gave me a light colour.
Then on to some random stamping from
AALL&Create #28, That's Crafty Texture
and Visible Image Live in the Moment Sentiment.
Added touches of Lindy's Pumpkin Fiesta EP
on top of the texture paste in parts.
My dragonfly stamp was a gift from a friend.
Added some Nuvo Glitter gloss to the centre of the dragonfly
then sprinkled Lindy's Ponderosa Pines Olive
over the top and roughed it up a bit.
Inked some of the edges with the same powder
and Tim's Black Soot.
Tried a bit of gold wax on the dragonfly
but didn't show up enough.
Pop over and see what The Team created
and we would love to see your MM project
in our Gallery.
Thanks for visiting.
Till next time -

What a vibrant and colourful piece of art Ina. Great colours, stencilling and I love the random stamping x. Always good to stay in and create when the weather outside is raining x.

Love those fiery colours they warm me up on a chilly March UK morning. You brought all those elements together so beautifully Ina.
Creative Hugs Tracey xx
Wow, such a beautiful make! The grungy design and richness of the colours look amazing with the dragonfly image - love it 😁. Thanks for the inspiration and Happy March! Hugs Jo x
A great background with matching colours, and the stamping is perfectly set.
