It's our last challenge of the year at
and I had a lot of fun creating a
Very Snowy Christmas Hanger.
I bought the hanger last year - just didn't get to work on it.
I knew when I saw it, it was perfect for Mixed Media.
Let the fun begin! Gessoed with black and white.
Painted the outer circle with
AA metallic rusty red and dark forest.
adding crackle paste to the inside circle
Lots of 'messy stuff'' going on here
adding crackle paste, glitter, art stones.
touched up back trees in green,
AA waxes, acrylic paint for snow capped trees and houses.
It needed a backing so cut out a circle
and smooched with Tim's ox inks and some
irridescent medium for shimmer.
and that finished off my
Christmas Wall Hanger.
Head over to our Blog to see what my
Talented Team Mates had fun creating.
Hope you get some 'you' time to create
a little mixed media something for us.
This is our last challenge for the year.
We take a break in January but
we will be back with more Mixed Media
for your pleasure in February.
Thank you for your kind comments throughout the year.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas
and a Safe Happy and Healthy New Year.
