Be Strong!

the oh so creative Cecile is Hosting
their November Challenges and picked
a favourite SU colour of mine - Rich Razzleberry

It would have been the first SU stamp that I bought.

I used a few SU stamps/dies inks and paper here
Botanical Blooms Die / Timeless Textures stamps
Mossy Meadow / Rich Razzleberry/ Baja Breeze
Memento Pistachio inks and Rich Raz paper.
Added a splashing of Lindy's Bougainvillea Fuchsia
to the layered flower (couldn't help myself)
white cotton for interest
Background stamping here and there
with above colours/stamp.
Pearl centred in flower.
Sentiment is AALL&Create heat embossed in white.
Adhered to Rich Razz card stock.

What's the Word at Just Us Girls?

It's Saturday and our New Challenge over at
Just Us Girls has Bobby hosting Word Week.
As it is a new month -
We welcome our  Guest Designer for November
and that is Karren Johnson at

After spending far tooooo long trying to get my card
to look like the colour it actually is I have just
let it be knowing how hard purple is to photograph.
A pretty CAS card with a few die cut flowers behind my fence.
The arched die cut has patterned vellum behind the
purple front. Finished with a hello die and a tiny butterfly.
Adhered to the same purple card base.
Head over to Our Gallery and check out
the great inspiration in store for you from
Karren and the Team.
Why not come join us for this weeks challenge.

A Fabulous Day

It's Anything Goes which makes it easy
to go with whatever comes to mind.

I totally love Tim's Wildflower Dies and have used
coloured with Lindy's Magical's
My go to sentiment stamp is
So versatile with so many great words to choose from.
I arranged the flowers on a die cut frame
and popped it in front of a smooched background.
and on to white card base.
The blue flower has diamond dust in the middle but
not showing up here.
Head over and see what the Team created
Love to see you add something to our Gallery.
There's a Mystery Stamp to be won by doing so.

Challenge Time at Creative Artiste Mixed Media

It's Challenge Time at Creative Artiste Mixed Media

I got a voucher from my bff for my birthday and
some of the products I used here are from that.
I am so lucky that there is a store here in Oz
that sell AALL&Create products as I
soooooooooo love their products.
This is my take on a YouTube presentation from
the Talented Tracy Evans HERE
and I looooooooove her work.
Started by brayering the background and flower colours.
Then added some stamping - Splattered Numbers #350
Stamped and fussy cut flowers and inked pot
Elegant Numbers #752 and Containers #401
Added some texture using sand paste over
stencil #6 and washi tape #1 and #9.
Attached black stamped flower and
popped the fussy cut flower heads and bowl
Of course I had to add white splatters,
some AA Fire Wall Wax and a few Liquid Pearls
to the centre of the flower,
completing with sentiment #40
corner rounding and attached to black base.
This was such fun and looking to more
makes from inspiration from Tracy and
her fabulous stamps.
My team mates have again made amazing
Mixed Media Makes for this months challenge.
Head over and see for yourself.
They never disappoint do they?
Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoyed my project.

UPDATE! Popping this over to
Till next month - Cherrio from

An Allsorts Celebration and a Tic Tac Toe

Loving a rainy day as it gave me a chance to
get messy and create a card for a couple of challenges.
Gardening can wait till tomorrow's sunny day.

I started  my background stencilling with
AALL&Create Mock-Croc #58
using texture paste, brusho's and
Lindy's Magicals Spray.
Unfortunately the texture got a bit squashed
when I cut my circle.
Penned a couple of circles behind it for effect.
Flower is inked with the same colours.
Added tiny seeds

 a Happy Birthday sentiment.
Flicked a few splatters
Attached to white card base.

Allsorts Challenge are celebrating
a milestone 700th Challenge
How fantabulous is that!
and The Paper Players have a

I chose the middle row down
Die cuts, texture, birthday.

This card is heading over to the above challenges.

Especially for You

For our New Challenge over at
Vickie has chosen - Fall Colours.
We don't experience the
pleasure of seeing the trees
show off their magical colour changes
where I live but I love to indulge by
creating something in those bold beautiful colours.

I was going to use gilding flakes but then
I looked at the gorgeous colours I could play with
using my Lindy's Magical's.
Leaves are from old Cuttlebug dies,
unknown die for small leaves
and I inked away to get those fall colours.
(photo doesn't show the shimmer)
Adhered to Memory Box branch die.
Background has some texture pasted stenciling.
Finished with sentiment and twine bow.
Head over and see the beautiful colourful cards
from the Sistahs and add yours to our Gallery.

Sending this off to Allsorts Challenge for their
and
Thanks for visiting.

Good Friends!

It's Saturday and Challenge Day at
Our Creative Cecile is Hosting and chose a
simply divine photo for our Inspiration.

I love to see what people take from a photo -
we all see different things that catch the eye.
I went with the colour, tall stems but hearts and
 similar wording in the sentiment.
One has a die cut and bow,
the other stencilled with a punched heart.
I wasn't sure which one I liked and found
them hard to photograph.
The sentiment is small and I now see
I should have used different paper.
This is  one of those challenges the outcome
I am not completely happy with.
Head over and be impressed with
what caught the eye of our Guest Lynne
 and Talented Team Mates.
Till next time -

Die cut is Scrap Dragons.
Background coloured the same as the poppy,
 cut with SB square die.
Adhered to the back and

You Rock!

It's Saturday and Lisa K is our Host for
Colour Week at Just Us Girls

I seem to be in an orange zone lately.
I guess it started with the change of season colours
with so much brown and orange for fall/autumn.
I went in a different direction
inking lots of circles in the above colours
from several stamp sets.
Finished with a sentiment.
Head over and see what's in store

It's a White Christmas!

Hello and welcome to today's post for
Our Theme this month is White on White
There is something magical about an all white card
especially a Christmas one.

I got out my favourite Spellbinder Poinsettia dies
and for some snowy shimmer added
Lindy's  Milky Way White Magicals to my flower and
the foliage dies behind it.
I dry embossed a sentiment strip to the background
(a freeby from a magazine)

Shame it couldn't be a red one.

kind comment on one of my cards I found
a New Challenge that uses 'snippets' YAY!

I went CAS here inking a Kaisercraft stamp
for my background on cream card stock.
Added some gold splatters and popped my
Cuttlebug leaf coloured with Lindy's Magical's
 dry embossed for texture.
Finished with a bit of twine, corner rounding and sentiment

rusty card base.

It's Creative Chaos!

October is Halloween Month and DT Carol from
the perfect ones!

I do love these colours together
(well there is my favourite colour purple there)
so I had to play and purple is so hard to photograph!
Since I have been having fun with the
Visible Image Creative Chaos recently
(you will see that card in a few weeks)
and still on my desk - it got inked up again.
I smooched Tim's distress inks for the background
adding some stenciling from AALL&Create,
inked my flowers with VersaFine Clair Nocturne
and heat embossed. Cut the second head
and inked in same colours as the background.
Cut and coloured the vase (also AALL&Create)
Popped both flower head and vase.
Sentiment was inked and heat embossed.
Adhered to black card base to finish.
This is heading over to
It's PURPLE!
Hope you like it and leave a comment.
